Alan High has contacted me regarding an Entry Speed Camera Pt No. 612/1/39000 made by Plessey Dynamics. His guess is that the camera was developed or adapted to record possibly the take-off and landing speeds of aircraft or maybe missiles and may have been fitted to a plane or ground control unit, hence being called an entry speed camera, and as this is Mkii I presume a Mk1 version originally was made.
He has been trying for some three years to find out about this Camera and his frustrating search is described in https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/63827177
Please contact him at Alan High <[log in to unmask]> if you can help. He sent me pictures which I can forward.
