Hi FSL experts,
I'm trying to analyse some DWI data for the first time, and I've been tasked to find out how to correct for distortions without having a reverse PE image. I've been told by a colleague that I can still perform the corrections without using topup, but I am not sure how. Some people have recommended using FUGUE for this, but again, being the first time I'm getting my feet wet with MRI I am unsure how to proceed.
I work with sheep, ferrets and mice, and these brains have been acquired ex vivo without the skull, either floating in PFA or suspended in 2% agar. I've been recommended to correct for the distortions in the ones suspended in PFA. The data has been acquired in a Bruker BioSpin 9.4T and I've been handed DWI (DtiEpi), T2* (MGE), Fieldmap (Fieldmap) and many RARE scans. Could anyone point me towards how the distortion correction is performed using either FUGUE or whatever else is recommended?
Many thanks,
Seb
