We run a staff observation scheme where experienced members of staff well observe fellow staff members teach. The idea of this process is to create space for conversations about teaching an improve practice. Up to now this is mainly focused on their face to face delivery. We are now including online teaching as part of this process.

We provide the more experienced members with a criteria sheet to help guide their conversations. we are including some information to support these people with an observation around the area of digital accessibility. The observers might look through some of their materials in order to assist with the evaluation and the discussion. the observers are not experts in the field of online education or digital accessibility.

I would be interested to know if anybody has any similar documentation to share or has any perspectives on what to include.
