Dear Users,
As some of you may already be aware, there will be some an upgrade to the RAL site firewall tomorrow, the 4th November between 7am and 9am UK Local time. If all goes according to plan the upgrade should be complete by 7:30, but the firewall will be at risk until 9am in case the change needs to be reverted. This will cause drops in connectivity to SCARF from offsite including VPN connections. This should mainly affect logins to the SCARF head nodes, running work should be unaffected - though any interactive jobs will terminate if the session on the login nodes which they are running via ends
We apologise for any inconvenience,
Derek
