I found it pretty staggering how little cut through 'emerging technologies' have in the population as a whole: only 20% said that they had used a VR headset in the previous 12 months - but there's an equipment barrier there. Also only 20% said they'd done at 360 degree virtual tour - 65% had used no emerging technology. That either means that there's a vast group of people who still find all this exotic - or, equally possible in the light of our conversation - clicked around a 360° tour a couple of years back, decided it was no great shakes and haven't been back... Certainly stuff i thought would have caught on everywhere a while ago still feels pretty niche.
