Green Deal Call: Invitation of Ideas by Organisations Based in Europe- "Enabling citizens to act on climate change, for sustainable development and environmental protection through education, citizen science, observation initiatives, and civic engagement"
As you may be aware, the Green Deal Calls are out: https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/portal/screen/programmes/h2020
IUSDRP is coordinating a bid as part of the Call "Enabling citizens to act on climate change, for sustainable development and environmental protection through education, citizen science, observation initiatives, and civic engagement" (Call code: ID: LC-GD-10-3-2020). Our proposal, titled "Citizens Science for Climate Science and Sustainable Development" (CS2SD) will be submitted as part of Subtopic 1 (Enabling citizens to act on climate change and for sustainable development through education).
We expect about 12 partners to join this 3 years project, providing substantial inputs. IUSDRP will cover the preparation costs, but expects each partner to contribute with 3% of their budget after the project is approved, and the first payment has been made. Partners thus do not need to pre-finance the preparation.
Expressions of interest consisting a 200 words summary of their experience and expertise on matters related to climate change and sustainable development through education, and a list of 5 relevant projects and 5 relevant publications, should be sent to:

by 10th October 2020.The internal deadline for submissions is 21st January 2021, so only those organisations which have the time and resources to engage, should reply to this invitation. Please do not engage if you are too busy, or have no time. The details on the procedures and schedule will be shared with those partners whose profile fit with the Call.
