Dear All,
The Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies, a leading institution in the field, has held its annual Korean Studies symposium since 2008. This symposium aims to provide opportunities for researchers and experts in Asian and Korean Studies to share their experience and knowledge. The 13th annual Kyujanggak International Symposium of Korean Studies in 2020 will be held in November to coincide with the anniversary of the founding of Kyujanggak. It is hoped that combining these two events will help achieve the Institute’s dual goals of the promotion of Korean Studies research and the management of and research on the Institute’s collection of materials.
This year’s Kyujanggak International Symposium of Korean Studies goes online considering the worldwide COVID-19 related situations. To facilitate online communication, the organizing committee decided to open The 13th Kyujanggak International Symposium website http://kyusympo.snu.ac.kr/. Due to the large number of participants (18 sessions with 74 presenters) and time difference around the world, presentations are pre-recorded and open to the registered attendees via the Symposium webpage (please visit Live/Catch-up ROOMs). Discussion will be held via live ZOOM meeting rooms during the Symposium period (Nov. 5 – 7, 2020) based on the KST.
We look forward to seeing you!
Sincerely,
The organizers of the 2020 Kyujanggak International Symposium
