JOB VACANCY: Statistician at Queen Mary University of London
The Centre for Women's Health (within the Institute of Population Health Sciences) is looking for a talented statistician to work on a variety of research projects. The Centre runs a portfolio of research in women’s health including multi-centre clinical trials, data-linkage/ cohort studies and systematic reviews.
We are looking for someone with a PhD or MSc in statistics, epidemiology or closely related field, or equivalent professional experience. Essential requirements include experience in providing statistical input to research in health or healthcare, a detailed knowledge of clinical trial designs in applied health research, familiarity with at least one statistical programming package and good oral, written and communication skills.
The post is a full-time, fixed-term appointment until October 2021 (with the potential of further extension to November 2022), starting as soon as available. The closing date for applications will be 27th September 2020, with interviews held shortly after.
