Hi Debbie
In our Trust we each wear the colour affiliated with our banding, as the Trust has tried to standardise across the organisation. We did request a team colour but we were informed at the time that the Trust was moving away from teams having different colours (although in the main part most teams do still have their own uniforms). The main frustration we have is that we blend in with the ward staff, so we are sometime approached by patients / visitors. On the plus side, we aren't as easily identified if we are watching someone perform a test, so we are more likely to catch those that don't adhere to the correct protocols in action.
We do have POCT stitched onto our uniforms.
Best wishes

Subject: Uniform Colours
Good afternoon all.
A lightweight Friday afternoon query. I know this has been asked before, but is there a national consensus on colour of POCT uniform?
Do you have a uniform in your Trust, and if so what colour is it?
I look forward to your responses.
