Dear All
Apologies for any cross posting!
I am an Archives and Records Management postgraduate student at the University of Dundee, currently in the midst of writing my dissertation entitled:
'An evaluation of the degree of impact that the current Data Protection Legislation has had on the Records Management practice and policies of UK local authorities'.
This research explores the impact of current Data Protection Legislation within Local Authority's Records Management policies and practices. I am looking into perspectives of the impact of the implementation of this legislation within Local Government Authorities, from: a Records Management point of view, a Data Protection professional perspective or both.
As part of my research, I am looking for information professionals within Local Government Authorities to take part in a survey, professionals with a knowledge of Records Management, Data Protections or both.
The survey is designed to cater to professionals. It is my hope that it will help me to ascertain what information professionals think of current legislation, and how it influences their local government authority regarding Data Protection and Recods Management; especially since the implementation of current Data Protection legislation. This survey will be anonymous.
If you are interested in participating, please follow this link to the survey: https://dundee.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/data-protection-and-records-management-local-authority-sur-2
The survey will be open until Monday 31st August 2020 and I am extremely grateful to anyone who can spare 10-15 minutes to complete it for me. If anyone has any questions about the survey or my wider research, please email me at [log in to unmask]
Many thanks for your time
Best Wishes
Daniel Hill
