The self-recovery from humanitarian crisis research project, led by CARE and the Centre for Development and Emergency Practice, has just published this report. The report explores how shelter support for housing reconstruction, including through self-recovery, can contribute to physical and mental health and wellbeing in the short- and long-term for people recovering from disasters.
