Dear Colleagues,
With the upcoming academic year on the horizon, Ph.D. students are still experiencing the impact of Covid-19 on their research.
I am forwarding a petition on behalf of our Ph.D. colleagues at Central European University. The Doctoral Body is requesting that their Board of Trustees approve a universal 6-month stipend extension to alleviate the detrimental consequences to the academic life, student wellbeing, and research caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the university's expulsion from Budapest to Vienna as a result of Lex-CEU.
As the petition approaches its final stages, we ask for your solidarity by signing the petition and circulating it with your networks.
