About this Event
Over the last month, The National Archives has been collating and sharing information online about how to plan for re-opening an archive service safely during the Covid-19 pandemic. While each archive service must be guided by the specifics of their own location, size and shared facilities, we understand the sector’s interest in knowing more about our plans at The National Archives.
We are therefore running this webinar to explain our thought processes and to answer questions from the sector about re-opening The National Archives with a risk-managed approach. At the webinar, you will hear a series of 10-minute presentations relating to operations, document services, conservation and communications at The National Archives plus a view from the wider sector.
Head of Archive Sector Development, Emma Markiewicz will then lead a Q&A session with the speakers to answer questions submitted in advance by participants. In any remaining time, there will also be an opportunity for participants to contribute questions on the day but please note that these will need to be added to the webinar’s chat rather than spoken due to the scale of the event.
To submit a question, please email [log in to unmask] with the title ‘re-opening webinar question’.
Details of how to join the webinar will be released closer to the date.
Best wishes,
Hannah
