If so, this is a unique opportunity to join the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) as our Safety Data Co-Ordinator.
The AAIB is the UK’s aviation safety investigation authority and our purpose is to improve aviation safety by determining the circumstances and causes of civil aircraft accidents and serious incidents, and to promote safety actions to prevent re-occurrence. We investigate accidents and serious incidents in the UK and overseas where there is a UK interest.
This is an exciting new role within the AAIB, and you will have the opportunity to shape the future direction it takes. Safety data is key to the AAIB’s purpose, and with attention to detail and strong analytical abilities, you will use your statistical skills to provide quality analysis and reports to our senior management team and external stakeholders. You will be data fluent, able to use a range of software packages and analytical techniques to input, process and communicate data in a clear and accessible way to people at all levels.
