Yes this is very frustrating isn't it! We had it happen to us nearly 2 years ago. It was hit and miss, some devices did it and some didn't even though they all had the same settings.
Roche told us to untick the New Code box on the QC Lockout page of the Device Config on IT1000 and that worked.
Hope it is the same thing for you and this fix works. (I know of other sites who've had the issue since we did so you are not alone).
