We are pleased to announce the NVivo Virtual Conference, Qualitative Research in a Changing World. The event is scheduled for September 23, 2020. Hear from experts to doctoral students on how they are adapting their research (or not) due to the changed research landscape. Learn from each other and share knowledge.
Conference Keynotes
As many of you may have to consider online methods for the first time, we have invited two keynote speakers who are world experts in this area:
Nancy Baym, PhD Senior Principal Researcher, Microsoft Research, Cambridge, MA, USA who has written extensively on how people use communications technologies.
Annette Markham, PhD Professor of Media and Communications and part of the Digital Ethnography Research Group at RMIT, Melbourne, Australia who has been involved in developing the Association of Internet Researchers' Ethics Guidelines for Internet Research.
Sara Shaw, PhD Associate Professor in Health and Social Policy, University of Oxford and Fellow at Green Templeton College, Oxford, UK who will discuss her research on Remote Consultations in Health Care: what can qualitative analysis tell us about development and use before, during and after COVID-19.
Call For Abstracts Is Now Open
We are looking for abstract submissions for papers and panels in the following areas:
. Qualitative Health Research (including social science research on COVID-19)
. Online and virtual methods
. Research in teams (We would like more abstracts on collaborating in team research)
. Innovative ways of using NVivo
. Participatory Research
. Inspire us - topics not covered above but important for qualitative methods
Posters:
. This is a special stream for posters by doctoral students
. Any topic where NVivo has been used for all or part of the analysis
