The whole poem a kind of comic (& mere) nemesis, Sheila, & so wittily done. So i’m agreeing with the others on a dialogue always going wrong, rightly so.
I can see the ee in the far background, but his was a comic erotic jest, & yours is a much more deliberate gesture…
