Hi everyone,
I've got a question concerning the output of FSL_VBM analysis. With my data, I went through the recommended VBM analysis as in here:
https://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/fslwiki/FSLVBM/UserGuide
But I don't really undestand what do the values, for example in GM_mod_merg_s3 mean? As written here:
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A2=FSL;3c23a239.1011
According to Good et al., 2001, the optimised protocol including the Jacobian modulation step leads to results in grey matter "absolute amount" or "volume", while the standard protocol with no modulation leads to (not interpretable) results of "concentration" or "density" (NOT recommended anyway).
So I understand, the output can be described as a grey matter "absolute amount" but what exactly does the value of a voxel in GM_mod_merg_s3 mean?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Adam
