Call for Papers
The June 15th deadline for the Fall 2020 issue of North Korean Review is fast approaching. We publish research articles of up to 7,000 words and short papers, commentaries, and case studies of up to 4,000 words on historical or current North Korean economic, political, societal, and diplomatic affairs. Book reviews should be discussed in advance with the book review editor and be no longer than 2,000 words. Send submissions to [log in to unmask] Please send submissions as an email attachment in Microsoft Word to the Editor. Authors will receive an email confirmation when their articles are received. Editorial decisions will typically be sent to authors within 90 days.

NKR’s online presence northkoreanreview.net maintains the NKR Vital Signs blog with timely and relevant DPRK related policy and research analysis. Those interested in contributing to our blog should send a short proposal of no more than 200 words to [log in to unmask]
Blog entries should be no more than 3000 words and, while not expected to be strictly academic, should still cite sources and aspire to a high quality of analysis above that of traditional news media.
