HEIR 2020 goes online!
COVID-19 has forced higher education online. Professional networks have had to re-imagine ways to engage during 2020. In the interest of health, safety and the ongoing uncertainty surrounding international travel and campus accessibility, the UK & Ireland HEIR Network and the University of Brighton HEIR Conference Planning Group have taken the decision to proceed with a revised online conference this year.
With an exciting line-up and four fabulous keynotes already planned, and now more than ever, the need to harness the power of IR to support decision-making and policy formation, we felt we just could not postpone this event, which has become an important milestone in our annual calendars since 2008!
The Network enables us to come together to discuss developments in Higher Education Institutional Research. There has been no year like 2020 for adaption and change in higher education and we expect this to be one of our most dynamic and innovative conferences yet!
The online conference format will include a combination of keynote speakers, synchronous and asynchronous presentations, and plenary discussions. We will ensure the conference remains to be an engaging and stimulating event, where ideas, good practice and solutions are considered and shared across our community.
Our call for papers is now open! Full details at https://blogs.brighton.ac.uk/heir/
