We have an exciting position available in our Smart Public Transport Lab at the Department of Transport & Planning of the TU Delft for a research fellow. This is a one-year position focused on developing and testing mobility strategies during public transport disruptions and maintenance works, in close cooperation with the City of Amsterdam<https://www.linkedin.com/company/gemeente-amsterdam/> and Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS Institute)<https://www.linkedin.com/company/amsterdam-institute-for-advanced-metropolitan-solutions/>.
We are looking for someone with a PhD degree in transport modelling, simulation, optimisation, network science or similar, who is interested in working at the intersection of science and industry.

This position is to be filled within a short notice by an applied researcher for a period of 1 year, potentially to be extended with one additional year. You will be employed by TU Delft. The workplace location is in Delft and Amsterdam. The research fellow will work at least 3-4 days a week in Amsterdam, based at the AMS Institute.
