Just a reminder about this Webinar for anyone who still wishes to register:


Only a couple of days to go until the Scholarships and Sanctuary Webinar - please register, and spread the word!

The webinar will be delivered by Christopher Smart, Equal Access Coordinator at STAR, and Abigail Grace, Universities of Sanctuary Programme Coordinator.

We will also hear from colleagues at Scottish Universities:
- Sam Lister, Director of the Global Office at the University of St Andrews will talk about their University of Sanctuary Award and appraisal process;

- Ian MacLellan, Student Support and Wellbeing Manager, University of Strathclyde and Co-Chair of the New Scots Refugee Integration Strategy Language and Education subgroups, will talk us through the long-established scholarship programme at the University of Strathclyde;

- Nadin Akta, Projects and Outreach Coordinator for Syrian Futures at the Edinburgh University Alwaleed Centre, will talk to us about her work with Syrian young people, encouraging their engagement with higher education.
