First, many thanks to Claire for a very engaging paper this afternoon. And thanks to the 64 others who participated: far more than a normal SNTS text-critical seminar.



I am writing now to apologise if you were trying join the seminar but were unable. I only discovered towards the end of the seminar that most controls on my Zoom interface had frozen; I have now learned that this also meant that I didn’t get any waiting room notifications from about 20 minutes into the seminar. This also meant that I was merrily continuing the discussion with Claire because I couldn’t see any hands being raised or people wanting to speak: once again, my apologies for this and thanks for everyone’s patience. At least we were able to hear and see our presenter throughout, which was the key thing.



I hope this will be resolved before the Apocalypse next week! I’ll be in touch as usual on Monday with the information about that session.
