Hi all,
As you know, more than ever, research is done in collaborative teams of researchers and by engaging publics. The drivers and benefits of such engagements are well recognised, but the current pandemic accelerated the need for virtual research sharing and collaboration spaces.
We've been working on an approach to support researchers to engage virtually with diverse publics from the early stages of a project, in participatory approaches such as citizen science or co-production, to its dissemination. We are experienced researchers and learning technologists and have come up with - Open Up! Collaborations in Research.
By using a ‘Digital Research Notebook’ with sharing and collaboration features, researchers will be able to Open Up! their research process for collaborative approaches or for research dissemination. Open Up! is a flexible approach, allowing for different degrees of openness and collaboration according to the purpose, project phase, and the types of publics targeted.
Open Up!’s ‘Digital Research Notebooks’ use digital familiar tools such as Office 365, Teams and OneNote, which allow for rapid development and application of the skills needed to collaborate in a digital environment, in an inclusive way, throughout a research project.
We would like to work with organisations, individuals and groups to create bespoke Open Up! Notebooks and training for researchers, which we can adapt to your budget and requirements.
On our webpage https://blend-ed.org.uk/research/ you can find information on:

We would be delighted if you could give us the opportunity to meet and hear your feedback about our approach.
Best wishes,
Luis Barbeiro
