Looking for some advice on behalf of a colleague.
I am sure many of you know that I am one of a team of 11 volunteers who organise and run the VIDM. Our 12th conference earlier this month was a huge success with 30 presentations over 24 hours and great numbers of attendees.
This opens the doors to many conversation with midwives from all over the world and I was asked this yesterday by a midwife working in a country where English is rarely spoken, section rates are 50-80% and the professional body has charged this midwife and three others to form a research group to disseminate (and later undertake) research to inform practice.

The question I was asked was. At the moment they translate summaries of research for dissemination via social media, referenced of course, but they want to translate and send out regular newsletters to midwifery colleagues containing not only summaries but entire research articles to familiarise midwives how research works. Who do they get permission to do this?
We had a long chat about how to tackle such a mammoth task in a country where childbirth is medicalised and obstetric violence is common. The good news is that some obstetricians are onboard with change.
Any suggestions how to do this?
This must be a common situation in many countries.
