Royal Statistical Society Online Interactive Discussion Meeting
Wednesday 13 May 2020, 4-6pm (UK time)
A reminder that the RSS is pleased to present for online discussion the paper 'Linear mixed effects models for non-Gaussian continuous repeated measurement data' by Özgür Asar, David Bolin, Peter J Diggle and Jonas Wallin.
We welcome contributions to the discussion following the presentation of the paper by the authors. Please let Judith Shorten ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) know in advance if you would like to reserve a speaking slot (up to 5 minutes) so that your name can be called. Anyone can contribute in the open session that follows, well do our best to fit everyone into the time allowed.
To register your attendance visit https://rss.org.uk/training-events/events/events-2020/online-interactive-discussion-meeting/
For further details, to download a preprint of the paper and for joining details visit https://rss.org.uk/training-events/events/key-events/discussion-papers/
Written contributions:
We also welcome contributions to the discussion in writing. Your comment must be no more than 400 words in length (not including any tables, reference details and figures). Please add the following information to the beginning of your contribution:
* the author(s) and title of the paper under discussion
* your name, title and affiliation, as you would wish it to appear on your printed contribution, e.g. Dr X, University of Y, City Z
* an email address where you wish to receive the proofs of your contribution for checking. These will be issued about 3 months after the event
We will make written contributions received before 13 May available for discussion, if possible.
All written contributions may be submitted for publication by sending a PDF file (plus a separate file for each figure) direct to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> before Wednesday 3 June 2020. This deadline is important to help the authors of the paper, who will consider all the contributions and compose a reply in limited time, and to help the timely production of the journal. A condition of publication of your contribution is that you assign copyright to the Society on the form that will be provided when we send you proofs to check.
