Hi Divina
A few extra points you could include are that connectivity would allow you to monitor usage so you can re-allocate devices from areas where unused to high use areas.
You can check the number of strips ordered verses the number of strips used to identify possible wastage/expired reagents.
You can also monitor the number of wasted strips due to user error and target training to those who have a higher number of errors. Or look at current practice to see if changes would reduce the errors. You may never actually do that but without connectivity there is no way to look at this information.
Another bonus is that you can accurately record usage for future contact negotiations with facts rather than estimates.
However as Jonathan said the main benefits are in governance and correct record keeping which is priceless but may not convince those who fund the change.
