PostDoc position (4 years, 100%) on attentional modulation of affective expectation effects (start July 1, 2020)
Research project
The project is focused on illuminating the role of attentional resources on emotional expectation effects in different age groups. It is planned to combine new behavioral paradigms with eye-tracking and functional neuroimaging. The project is part of a larger interdisciplinary collaboration center in which international top-class scientists from the field of expectation and placebo are involved.
Location
The project is located within the Lifespan Neuroscience Group (head: Stefanie Brassen) at the Institute of Systems Neuroscience (ISN, head: Christian Büchel) at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Hamburg, Germany.

Requirements:
• PhD in neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science, or a related discipline
• Very good experience in programming, analyzing neuroimaging experiments (fMRI), computational modelling
• Very good skills in English, knowledge of German is a plus
• Motivation to work independently as well as in a team environment
