Dear all
We are part way through running our AHRC project focused on Black British and British Asian Screen Media and we are currently looking for contributions to our network's website (https://mypad.northampton.ac.uk/dsmn/).
In particular we are putting out a call for anyone who has material (of any sort) related to the production, distribution, exhibition or reception of Black British and British Asian screen media to go into our online exhibition. It could be ticket stubs, posters, images, memes, festival related advertising or promotional material or anything else you think deserves a platform and might be of interest to others. We'd love to collate all of these into a virtual online exhibition that shows just how important, and central to our lives, Diaspora screen media has been, and continues to be.
If you do have something then please do send us an email ([log in to unmask]) and we'll be back in touch shortly. We will name check all contributors to the website.
The Diaspora Screen Media Network (DSMN) aims to explore the exciting developments taking place in Black British and British Asian Cinema and TV brought about by new media and the internet.
The network will bring together creative practitioners, cultural hubs, educators, students and members of the public to create new conversations about the innovative changes in the ways that media is produced, disseminated and consumed.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
