Dear colleagues,
You are invited to participate in a short research study about metadata associated with the acquisition, cataloging and discovery of streaming video in library catalogs. This research aims to shed light on what pieces of information make streaming video more accessible and discoverable and to identify areas where metadata, especially that provided by vendors, could be improved.
Participation in the following two surveys is completely voluntary.
The survey on acquisition and cataloging is anticipated to take no more than 25 minutes. We are asking for only one response per institution; please collaborate with your colleagues. To enable participants to gather relevant information for response, we recommend that you view survey questions at the following link before completing the survey:

The survey on discovery is anticipated to take no more than 10 minutes and is open to everyone, including librarians and other library staff, as well as interested library users. We are looking for individual responses and welcome multiple responses per institution. The surveys are confidential. Data may be reported in aggregate form in conference presentations and/or journal articles.
