Dear SIMSOCers!
We are preparing project where we naturally will implement model in Python, but also independently in NetLogo. (I am not good in Python - just can read and understand, Python programmers neglect NetLogo.) We take it as unique oportunity to follow guidlines to implement one conceptual model in several languages and compare the results.
I have strong impression that it's very rare to double-implement one conceptual model in different softwares, but it is only impression. Is there some study exploring how many papers are based on single-software model implementations and more-than-one-software implementations? I remember classes of Steve Railsback, where he motivated us to do so (at least in NetLogo and spreadsheet), but I still have strong impression no-one does it.
With deference,
FranÄŒesko
