As previously advertised, this year's RAG conference on the theme of Religion and Art will take place at Luther King House in Manchester on Monday 4th May. The speakers have all been booked (list attached) and the titles of their presentations are being finalised. A full conference programme will be available shortly. The format will be slightly different this year in order to help those travelling from a distance to secure the most economical fares if travelling by train. The proceedings will begin at midday with the Annual General Meeting and lunch. The conference is expected to finish around 5pm. A hot lunch and the usual refreshments are included in the booking fee of £45.
Several enquiries have already been received about this event. The RAG committee has therefore authorised the release of the booking form which will appear on our website in the next few days. In the meantime, I have attached a copyOur thanks are due to Susannah Rayner, the conference organiser, and to our Treasurer, Chris Penney, to whom booking forms should be returned. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on 4th May and to reporting on developments during the past year. These include the small grants scheme and the issue of our latest guidance along with other initiatives. The papers for the AGM will be posted on the RAG mail-base during April.
