Good morning Colleagues,
I hope you are all safe, healthy and happily set up working from home.
I am a founding director at Smartify. During this global health crisis, our team are doing everything possible to support museums in engaging with audiences digitally while the doors are closed.
To help more museums make use of Smartify, the team is offering museums complimentary use of the platform’s mobile tour function for up to 50 artworks through the end of 2020. We are also extending a 20% discount on both our Pro and Premium partnership levels for museums interested in a more robust presence on Smartify.
Smartify is a UK-based community interest company. The platform has over 2,000,000 artworks and 1,000,000 downloads. As a platform optimised for mobile and also available as a web app, we can provide connectivity safely from a distance to users’ personal devices.
The app can provide:
• Image recognition (scan to learn more)
• Tours
• Audio and video content
• AR for users to "see" the artwork on their own walls (providing an accurate size of the artwork virtually)
• Affinity and membership cards
• Donations
You can view some examples of tours already re-purposed for home viewing created by The Lowry (https://smartify.org/tour/ls-lowrys-landscapes-of-salford) and Watts Gallery (https://smartify.org/tour/unto-this-last-two-hundred-years-of-john-ruskin-curator-tour).
Please reach out to me directly or via [log in to unmask] if you have any questions or wish to load up some of your collection.
Thanks for all your dedicated work in these difficult times.
Best wishes,
Anna
