Dear FSL experts,
I plan on running proj_thresh with multiple seeds (4) and targets (6), similar to the analyses in Rushworth et al., 2006 (Cereb. Cortex), but I´m stuck in between two ideas about how to go for it:
1) run probtrackx and proj_thresh separately for each seed (one command for each seed)
2) run probtrackx and proj_thresh including all seeds (one command including all seeds)
For the first approach, the proportions of connections from one seed to all targets add up to 1.
As the second approach uses all streamlines passing from all seeds to all targets, the proportions for ONE seed to all targets dont add up to 1.
In Rushworth et al., 2006 according to the bar plots (higher proportions when summing up the targets), they used approach 2).
But I'm not sure why, and which option would be more useful to compare connectivity between different seeds.
Thanks everyone in advance for your help!
Cheers,
Melanie
