Are you interested in how technology can support citizen science, crowdsourcing or public engagement?
Would you like to set up and manage your own citizen science project online, from setting up your questions to finding participants, gathering, analysing and sharing data?
Join this free, interactive workshop on the 6th March at the Open University UK and get support to author and run your own citizen science investigation using the nQuire platform (nquire.org.uk).
nQuire is a platform developed by the Open University in partnership with the BBC. It has been designed to support the process of setting up, managing, and implementing citizen science projects from start to the end (see nquire.org.uk).
By the end of this workshop, you will:
(a) learn what nQuire is about
(b) learn how to author nQuire investigations,
(c) set up and pilot at least one investigation you are interested in,
(d) get feedback and support from the nQuire team,
(e) find out about projects or initiatives pursued by other attendees (e.g., organisations, individuals).
Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Complimentary lunch and coffee is provided.
