Good morning.
Not sure if this is related, but in our environment we had to enable TLS 1.0
support for the installers to work. When TLS 1.0 was disabled, the
installers kept on failing. We disable/ enable TLS 1.0 support via a GP.
Thanks, Jay

Subject: Portal failure
terribly sorry but after removing the portal/service and its database it
won't install again. Would anyone have seen this before?
MSI (s) (84:E8) [10:38:50:368]: Running as a service.
CAQuietExec: An exception occurred while running
Microsoft.IdentityManagement.SolutionPackUtility.exe:
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by
the target of an invocation. --->
Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPDeletedConcurrencyException: The
object SPSolutionDeploymentJobDefinition
Name=solution-deployment-microsoftilmportalcommondlls.wsp-0 has been deleted
by another user since it was last fetched.
to get this far I have to use the main admin account to install
portal/service as the actual user (mimservice) can't start services and the
install fails at that point.
thanks,
Alistair
