SLA Europe is pleased to offer two opportunities for current European library and information science students and new professionals (those who have been working in the field for less than five years since qualification) to attend the 2020 SLA Conference, all expenses paid.
SLA Europe is offering two awards in 2020 jointly with the SLA Legal Division and SLA Science and Technology Division (the Diane K. Foster International Student Travel Award). These Early Career Conference Awards provide valuable opportunities for new professionals in LIS to develop and establish themselves within their chosen sector.
The Awards allow winners to attend the 2020 SLA Annual Conference and INFO-EXPO in Charlotte, USA, 7-9 June 2020 and cover all expenses including conference registration, hotel accommodation, economy return airfare to Baltimore, and meals.
The deadline for applications is 5th March 2020 and winners will be notified in March 2020.
