Dear Colleagues,

Call for Papers: "Sustainability in Natural Resources Management and Land Planning"
World Sustainability Series

The European School of Sustainability Science and Research (ESSSR) https://esssr.eu/ and the Inter-University
Sustainable Development Research Programme (IUSDRP) https://www.haw-hamburg.de/en/ftz-nk/programmes/iusdrp.html are
engaging on a new book as part of the "World Sustainability Series", whose title is
"Sustainability in Natural Resources Management and Land Planning". We are now calling for papers from
colleagues working on the nexus sustainability-natural resources management and in planning.
The book will be truly interdisciplinary, and will have both a research and application oriented dimenson.
The list of topics includes, but is not limited to:

a) sustainability and water management
b) sustainability and biodiversity conservation
c) the future sustainability of nature-based industries such as agriculture, mining,
tourism, fisheries and forestry
d) sustainability, people and livelihoods
e) sustainability and landscapes planning
f) sustainability and land use planning
g) sustainability, ecology and life-supporting systems

The book will be published as a further volume of the «World sustainability Series» (https://www.springer.com/series/13384).
This is the leading and most influential book series on matters related to sustainable development. Over 2.000 sustainability
researchers have had the opportunity to contribute to its books. The peer-review nature of the publications means that they have,
over the years, officially counted for the promotion and tenure purposes of hundreds of authors.
We are looking for authors working at senior positions who have the experience needed. This will be a high profile book,
to be widely cited in the literature, and offers an excellent addition to one´s CV.

Expressions of interest to contribute, consisting of an abstract of 200 words, with the names and full contact details
of the authors, should be sent to Andreia Setti at: [log in to unmask] by 27th February 2020. Full papers are due by 20th June 2020.

Rgds,

The ESSSR & IUSDRP Teams
