The above programme has recently been approved by the University of Plymouth (subject to conditions and recommendations) and Exeter College is, therefore, now seeking expressions of interest in relation to the appointment of an External Examiner.
Exeter College has a long history of delivering technical and professional Higher Education, in partnership with a number of universities and awarding bodies. It is a registered Approved (Fee Cap)Higher Education Provider with the OfS, was awarded TEF Gold in 2017 by HEFCE, and was deemed to meet all UK quality standards for HE in 2015 by QAA.
The programme will be based within the College's Faculty of Sport Leisure and Tourism and have a well equipped Sport and therapy environment. On successful completion of the FdSc, students will be eligible to progress to a 'Top Up' year at the Plymouth Marjon University.
The appointment will run from September 2020 for a period of four years and the appointee must meet University of Plymouth requirements for External Examiners. These include being an experienced senior lecturer or programme manager, having prior experience in an External Advisor or Examiner role and not having had any involvement with the College, University or any of its other Partner Colleges in the past five years.
