Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London
An exciting opportunity to work on a new research programme delivering better clinical trials of new treatments in mental health, with a focus on projects relating to children and young people. You will join an established team of statisticians in the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics. The department is world-renowned for developing novel methodology and applications in the field of mental health and is currently expanding rapidly by recruiting to several new posts, part-funded by a recent NIHR Research Professorship award to Professor Richard Emsley.
You will work on a range of NIHR and UKRI funded clinical trials in mental health. In addition to applied analysis and reporting of clinical trials and epidemiological projects, this post will include a methodological component, requiring the advanced use of statistical packages and programming. It will require you to have a good understanding of statistical methodology and clinical trials. You will have opportunity for further professional development, including applying for future personal funding.
This is a full-time post and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years. The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
