This April, Data Study Group participants will tackle an interesting mix of real-world challenges. From working with the Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Cambridge Institute to explore the role of perturbation targets – using AI and machine learning tools – in the development of breast cancer, (this work will allow devising of new interventions to halt this process); to detecting illegal online pharmacies and vendors of counterfeit prescription medication; to our most recent challenge, to improve the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles in urban environments.
Early career researchers, PhDs and postdocs are invited to apply. The deadline is Monday 2 March at 12 noon GMT.
