Dear FSL experts,
Could you be so kind and have a look at our post below wrt Template-Based Dual Regression.
We posted this last week but haven't had any response to it.
Thanks for consideration.
Best,
Mauricio Delgado

Dear FSL team,
We are probing intrinsic network function by means of MELODIC and Dual Regression. We are interested in 5 well characterised networks, and these were nicely produced by our MELODIC pipeline (DMN, Dorsal/Ventral Attention, Basal Ganglia, Cerebellum). These network solutions were confirmed by visually and quantitatively (spatial cross-correlations) comparing their architecture to prior work. We now aim to feed the output of MELODIC into Dual Regression to probe some associations we had hypothesised about.
However, some papers on the topic mention the use of predefined network templates (e.g., Laird/Smith/Yeo) instead of the MELODIC group-level IC during Dual Regression, mainly for consistency/reproducibility purposes.
We are, therefore, wondering if our intended approach is still optimal? That said, many recent studies do employ the approach we have in mind, so we really like to know what the best option would be, if there is any....
Would be great if you could provide us with some assistance.
Many thanks!
Mauro
