Dear FSL experts,
I have two datasets (ex: Patient, Healthy control) and have done ICA (MELODIC) using only one group (Healthy control).
I tried dual regression twice using identical IC components: (1) all data set altogether (Patient + healthy control), and (2) separately for each dataset.
I compared time-series values of one subject from two dual regression conditions (all dataset put into dual regression/ each dataset separately put into dual regression), and I found that there were some differences between them.
There are two questions.
(1) Does the target's (a subject's) time series value depend on other data that is entered together when performing double regression?
(2) Is it okay to do dual regression separately for each dataset?
I appreciate for your reply in advance.
YM Huh.
