EXTERNAL PANEL MEMBER FOR PROGRAMME APPROVAL
BSc (Hons) Contemporary Mental Health Practice


Edge Hill University (Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine) is seeking to recruit one External Panel Member for the validation of the following 3-year undergraduate degree:

BSc (Hons) Contemporary Mental Health Practice

We would encourage academics with relevant subject expertise, who have experience of quality review processes within their own and other Higher Education Institutions, to apply. The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine is situated within the University’s Ormskirk Campus.

An External Panel Member would receive documentation prior to the event date and is requested to provide written comments in advance of the event – they would then attend 1 full day of the event – attendance on:

Friday 17th April 2020, at 9:30am


Arrangements

Externals involved in validation normally receive a standard fee of £200 (equivalent of 20 hours’ work) before tax which is deducted at the standard rate, plus travel and subsistence for one visit to the University. The entitlement to pro-rata holiday is incorporated in to the hourly rate of pay.

Admission to the University’s Validation process is on the basis of satisfactory completion of the University’s personal approval process, including verification of the right to work in the UK and completion of terms and conditions. Please note, this process requires completion prior to any work being undertaken.
