The Centre for Chinese Visual Arts (CCVA) at the Birmingham City University offers a post-doctoral fellowship in Contemporary Chinese Art until 31 July 2021. The salary is between £30,831 and £33,512 per annum. The position is open to young scholars who have completed a PhD in a relevant field of Chinese contemporary art.
Deadline for application: Tuesday 11 February 2020.
This new post will join the CCVA team by providing contribution and assistance to the research, curating and co-ordination of the research centre, including the organisation of conference, editing of CCVA publications, and management of CCVA publicity.

Initiated in 2007 with extensive regional and international partnerships, CCVA brings together artists, designers, curators and researchers who are working with, or are interested in the contemporary contexts of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in order to share expertise, understanding, critiques and ideas of innovation. In addition, we develop cutting-edge curatorial projects and hold annual conferences to discuss and evaluate latest research development, and to expand expertise within the interdisciplinary community.
