Designing and Planning your Oral History Project – Sheffield, Friday 28 February 2020, 10am – 5pm
This new course is aimed at anyone who is planning a medium to large scale oral history project, particularly one that will involve managing a number of project interviewers.

Archival Management of Oral History Collections – London, Thursday 30 January 2020, 10am – 5.30pm
This day course covers the practical, technical and ethical issues around the selection, collection and description of oral history and other recorded personal testimony and spoken word on multiple audio formats. It also explores opportunities that oral history-based partnerships offer archives for community engagement.

Introduction to the New Data Protection Legislation (GDPR) for Oral Historians – London, Tuesday 31 March 2020, 1.45pm – 5pm
This half-day workshop is aimed at interviewers, archivists and project managers who are recording and collecting narrative data for the purpose of archiving and public access/reuse. Following significant changes in data protection law, course leaders will explore the impact of these changes on oral historians, including some sample scenarios.
