The Anthropology of Travel, Tourism and Pilgrimage 2020 Summer School at SOAS University of London is open for registrations! Sign up now and start looking forward to three weeks of summertime lectures, workshops, art events, debates, field trips and guided tours of London, together with a pilgrimage down the Old Way and a guided tour of a rural/coastal region in Sussex!
The ATTP Summer School runs from 29 June to 17 July 2020 and offers a wide range of theoretical, practical and policy-related approaches to tourism, pilgrimage, cultural heritage and travel – including a consideration of home and displacement. The course is conducted in an intense, unique and closely-knit environment providing first class knowledge/practice of and in the field. The course is open to students in a variety of disciplines including anthropology, sociology, history, geography, development studies, international relations, art – as well as disciplines in Art and Humanities more generally.
