Hi
Earlier in the month I issued a request for group members to complete a short survey on referencing styles used in academic libraries and have been asked to summarise the results.
Question 1 asked respondents if their institution used a single referencing system. There were 162 responses in total. 26% responded Yes, 74% No.
Respondents who answered ‘Yes’ to Question 1 were invited to state which referencing style was used (this was optional). Answers were as follows:-
Harvard 16 (3 respondents indicating that they used Cite Them Right Harvard)
APA 9
Chicago 2
Of the respondents answering ‘No’ to Question 1, 10 indicated in ‘further comments’ that Harvard was one of the many systems used and that they used Cite Them Right Harvard.
Best wishes
Sarah
