Hi Bryan,
Again - this is very helpful. Thank you!
I'm slightly confused about the mean maps for each group. It was my understanding that to control for variables of non-interest, we should model thise EVs as "0" in the contrast. Can you explain further why a 0.2 weight is added to each site EV for the within-group maps (but not for other contrasts)?
Also, I noticed that subtracting the global mean, then entering control age and patient age as separate EVs makes each age EV not sum to 0. Can you confirm that this is okay?
Lastly, I've tried running swe and ran into this error:
swe -i allCopes.nii.gz -o swe -d design.mat -t design.con -s design.sub -m ../../pediatric_template/t1_brain.nii.gz --wb -n 999
swe options: -i allCopes.nii.gz -o swe -d design.mat -t design.con -s design.sub -m ../../pediatric_template/t1_brain.nii.gz --wb -n 999
Setting up the model: done
Warning! No relevant output options selected. Exiting.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? I also obtained this error when I removed the -m and --wb arguments/flags.
Thanks again for all of your help,
Lara
