Hi Everyone
A late Friday afternoon question for you. We no longer charge fines, and we automatically renew books up to 12 times, I think some people call it dynamic loans. We vary rarely use date stamps, because of this and self service. We are wondering whether we should stop putting date labels in books, but the label clearly states the ownership of the book and we colour code according to library. We stopped having book plates some time ago. I was wondering has anybody else decided to stop having date labels, and if so how do you mark ownership and location beyond the accession stamps. Also, has anybody else had a similar discussion and decided to keep with date labels, if so why.
Have a nice weekend.
Regards
